The studio chalets of Ayr Sailean
are set in amongst granite boulders and native bush in a quiet
rural setting on our farm. The farm is situated half way between
Denmark and Walpole on the south coast of Western Australia.
The chalets are a quiet haven where you can get away from
it all and enjoy the luxury of a spa under the stars.
Imagine lying back in the spa with a glass of something refreshing
watching one of our magnificent sunsets, or just relaxing
in bed with a view out over the Irwin Inlet.
The Chalets are designed to cater for 2 but can sleep up
to 4. Each unit has a queen bed and a foldaway sofa bed. These
units are fully self contained and all you need to bring is
your food. A continental breakfast is supplied for overnight
stays.

Wool Cottage is the original 1930's
home (recently renovated) on the farm and can sleep up to
8 people. Beds comprise a queen and 6 singles, or the 2 divan
blocks can make a second double. There are 4 bedrooms. The
bathroom includes a shower over a full size bath.

Inverell Home is situated overlooking
a beautiful sweep of the Frankland River at Nornalup and can
accommodate 2 couples and 4 singles, with full size kitchen,
lounge, bathroom and laundry. Relax in the lounge and watch
the occasional boat or canoe make its way up river, or the
abundant bird population swim leisurely by.

Things To See & Do
Ayr Sailean
is situated on two properties - one a working sheep
farm (Weena) and so farming activities can be observed when
being carried out; the other on the Frankland River at Nornalup
with canoeing, fishing, swimming etc. Nornalup Inlet can also
be reached by boat.
Farm walks
- many animals such as sheep, cattle, kangaroos, etc can be
seen with the native fauna being especially seen in the early
morning and evening. Wildflowers abound in the spring. Blue
Wrens and many other birds are resident near the accommodation
Peaceful
Bay - just 15 minutes drive brings
you to this beautiful sheltered bay suitable for swimming
and fishing. Boats can also be launched at this spot.
Tree Top Walk & Valley of the Giants
- 15 minutes drive is all it takes to reach this world famous
attraction. Enjoy the thrill of walking in the forest canopy
or the eerie splendor of the Ancient Empire Walk.
Nornalup National Park - forests,
ocean, rivers, waterfalls, wildflowers, fauna and much much
more.
Interpretive Centre - (currently under construction)
Bibbulmun Track - free delivery
and pickup is available for guests to the Bibbulmun Track.
Fully equipped Back Pack Hire is also available for day and
overnight walks. Inverell Home is a short walk from the Bibbulmun.
Craft & Mead - Pottery, Wood
Work and Sculpture, Honey Meadery and many more are within
a short drive.
Wineries - Take a day to tour the
outstanding wineries of the Denmark region. A thrill for the
taste buds.
